"I met you at the panel discussion about Independent Living Skills this summer, bought your video, and have shown it to my staff, who all loved it and obviously find it very relevant to our work." Leslie is the Clinical Supervisor for KidsPeace and works with therapeutic foster parents. After showing the ON THEIR WAY DVD to staff, they decided to develop foster parent training and a youth life skills program using this program along with the website On Your Way.

There certainly is not enough training facilities in foster parenting skills in our area. I am only part time and dont have the 'clout' for big decision making, but have put forward suggestions.. We shall see what happens.

It has some helpful suggestions for the day to day living with teens and helping them get "on their way."
