Michael Quinn, a 25 year veteran social agency professional guides parents through a virtual 10-station tour and inspection of a typical foster home. He looks for dangerous conditions that might go unnoticed until seen as a safety hazard to children - everything from the temperature of hot tap water to unsecured old freezers. Parents assume the role of reglators with self-scout house inspections, noting deficiences and making necessary corrections and repairs.
