In addition, the video can be shown to others who have limited knowledge of agency operations and related risks. Groups such as legislators, judicial representatives, community groups, and other county, city, or state officials would benefit from a presentation and discussion of the video content.
The model presented, Safe at Work, is a committee approach to development of supports for workplace and personal safety programming. The committee that meets is multi-cultural and represents staffs from many different work areas of a social or human service agency. Both field and office operations are discussed and brainstorming is used to develop an initial list of areas of concern.
Video Guides can be purchased in packs of ten to assist in generating discussion of the video presentation. In addition, there is room for note taking and questions related to the video and workplace safety.
