What is the Volunteer Advocate Academy?
It is a ten-module online, interactive curriculum focused on how to better represent adolescents involved in the child welfare and court systems. It has been successfully tested nationally with Child Welfare staffs, CASA and GAL volunteers and staffs. The curriculum includes both video and interactive material on topics such as:

Living Arrangements Employment

When can I use the curriculum and How much is it?
The Volunteer Advocate Academy curriculum is now available to all individuals and groups. The fee is $24.95 for an individual license and group rates are $19.95 per license.
How Long Will it Take?
It will take approximately 2.5 - 3 hours to complete the ten module eLearning course. It is suggested that the curriculum be completed over a period of time and not all at once. After completing the course, users will continue to have access to the curriculum to review all of the materials.
